Meera Jasmine has done the female lead role in the movie Thirumagan with SJ Suryah and the movie has come out very well with her excellent performance. She has played the role of a pot maker and hailing from a poor family. SJ Suryah, a youth in the village falls in love with Meera Jasmine and both decide to marry but Suryah's father dies. There is promise made by Suryah's father to his friend. He is also in the situation to fulfill it. The climax of the movie is whom he marries and does he fulfill the promise made by his father. The movie is also stars Malavika, Preethi Verma and Lakshana.
